Bar food – a phrase that suggests that you must be severely intoxicated before enjoying the stale, old meals the bar serves. Loud, wild, obnoxious and cramped are the elements you are forced to deal with when subjecting yourself to most bar atmospheres. Relaxation and peace are usually the first two pleasures stripped from your mind when thinking about the mood of a bar.
However, these words and phrases used to describe typical bars are extremely uncharacteristic of the “Tin Roof.” Yes, that’s right, I said “bar,” multiple times now. My blog is about an awesome restaurant and bar in Nashville that is an enjoyable place to hang out without the pressure to drink or to be overly noisy and crazy.
People come from far and wide, not for a drink that they could get at any ordinary bar, but for the live entertainment, award-winning food, and laid-back atmosphere of the Tin Roof. All its food is made from scratch, and all prices are very reasonable. It is located at 1516 Demonbreun St. in Nashville, and recently opened other locations in Cool Springs, Lexington, Columbia, and Knoxville.
The Tin roof is a huge supporter of St. Jude’s and always looks for great charities to give toward. It tries to help the community in any way possible by taking part in big events and functions. The Tin Roof constantly has fun events for the public to join in, and many of them aid society in some way. Costume events, football parties, themed celebrations and scheduled live singers only begin to convey the amusing and entertaining affairs that Tin Roof provides.
Are you convinced that you have a talent like no other? Can you shred on a guitar, tear up a keyboard or sing better than the best of them? If this sounds like you, Tin Roof wants YOU to perform. By contacting them and providing a little background information on you or your band, you might be the next name on the sign reading, “performing live Saturday night.”
No matter how old or young you are, the Tin Roof has something for you. It is a great place to bring your family and have a relaxing day watching football, or simply enjoy a fantastic meal while listening to great music. For the night owls, Tin Roof stays open until 3 a.m. on every day but Sunday; and the party definitely doesn’t stop, or even begin to slow down, until closing time. So go enjoy a great day or night at the Tin Roof, where they remind you, “Relax, you’re at the Roof, where everybody is somebody.”
